The focus of the 2011 Port Huron Memorial Day Parade is on Purple Heart recipients. If you know of Purple Heart recipients who are able to attend the parade, please contact a parade committee member, or have the veteran (if they can march!)... at Fort and Quay Streets by 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 30, 2011. Or, assemble at the Eternal Flame Memorial in Pine Grove Park (Port Huron).
The Port Huron Memorial Day Parade is sponsored by the City of Port Huron and Port Huron veteran organizations: American Legion Post 8 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 796. Staging is at Fort and Quay Streets, starting at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 30, 2011. The parade begins at Quay and Huron, and then proceeds North (on Huron) to Pine Grove Park at 11:00 a.m. sharp!
