Information for the 10th Annual Michigan Remembers Run

The 10th Annual Michigan Remembers Run (MRR) honors and remembers military POW/MIA personnel from all U.S. Wars, and the families who await return of their loved one's. The run begins from staging sites throughout Michigan on Saturday morning. The groups then ride to Lansing. Participants should arrive at the Capitol steps by 1:00 p.m. A Michigan Remembers Run commemorative pin/patch is available at the Capitol steps for a donation of $10.00 (US funds - proceeds go to the POW/MIA issue).

Representative John Espinoza (US Army Retired) and Bob "Stretch" Cleeland (member of POW rescue mission in Vietnam) are featured speakers. The ceremony will last approximately ninety minutes.

We gather to honor and remember military personnel who have not returned home.

Several (non-partisan) dignitaries (including POW/MIA family members) will speak.

If you are interested in becoming a ride captain, or helping with this event (a city or town organizer/coordinator), please e-mail mrr@gmasw.com, or contact me at the address listed below.

Please... no-attitudes or alcohol before or during the run and ceremony. All riders must adhere to Michigan statues regarding motorcycle operation (wearing helmets, etc.). This event open to the public.

LTC Denny Gillem (US Army Retired), Co-Chair & M.C., (Grand Rapids)
Barry "Bearman" Dennis Co-Chair, (Waterford)
